The main facilities of UCSF Medical Center and UCSF Children's Hospital are located south of Golden Gate Park in a neighborhood called Parnassus Heights. This complex covers almost six blocks that we share with the UCSF health sciences schools. Our 15-story hospital — including UCSF Children's Hospital, a "hospital within a hospital" — is located here.
Our clinics are centralized in the eight-story Ambulatory Care Center at 400 Parnassus Ave, across the street from the hospital. Clinics also are housed in several medical office buildings and at our Mount Zion campus.
Parking is available in our seven-level Millberry Union Garage at 500 Parnassus Ave. There are two garage entrances — one on the north side of Parnassus Avenue and the other on Irving Street, just east of Third Avenue. Parking is $3 an hour, with a maximum fee of $24 for up to 24 hours.
A free shuttle travels between our Parnassus and Mount Zion sites and several other of our San Francisco locations.
Public transportation is available to our Parnassus location.
