Renal Center

The Children's Renal Center provides consultation and treatment for children with urinary tract and kidney disease, including nephritis, nephrosis, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, disorders of calcium and phosphorus metabolism, urinary tract infection, kidney stone disease and nutrition and growth disorders related to kidney disease. We also diagnose and manage patients with acute kidney failure.

UCSF experts from a wide range of specialties work as a team to provide comprehensive care for infants and children with end-stage kidney disease, including dialysis and kidney transplants.
