

Ophthalmologists at UCSF Children's Hospital offer comprehensive consultation, evaluation and treatment for pediatric eye disorders ranging from the most common to the extremely rare and complex. For children who require eye surgery, our pediatric ophthalmologists perform procedures such as eye muscle surgery for the correction of strabismus, cataract extraction, nasolacrimal duct probing and ptosis repair.

We do not perform routine eye examinations for older children who need glasses or contact lenses.
If you're interested in visiting our clinic, please request a referral from your child's current pediatrician, optometrist or ophthalmologist.
