Visiting Hours

Visitors are welcome at UCSF Children's Hospital. Siblings of all ages are encouraged to visit, unless they have a cough or cold. Visiting hours generally are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. but may be more limited in our critical care areas. If you have questions about the visiting policies or hours, please check with the nurses in the unit.

In special cases, visitors may be allowed to arrive after 8 p.m. After hours access is limited and all visitors are screened by security. After hours visits must be approved by the nursing unit. Once approved, visitors will be issued a dated visitors pass that must be worn at all times.
