The main facilities of UCSF Medical Center and UCSF Children's Hospital are located south of Golden Gate Park in a neighborhood called Parnassus Heights. This complex covers almost six blocks that we share with the UCSF health sciences schools. Our 15-story hospital — including UCSF Children's Hospital, a "hospital within a hospital" — is located here.

Our outpatient clinics are centralized in the eight-story Ambulatory Care Center, across the street from the hospital at 400 Parnassus Ave. Clinics also are housed in several medical office buildings.

Parking is available in our seven-level Millberry Union Garage at 500 Parnassus Ave. There are two garage entrances -- one on the north side of Parnassus Avenue and the other on Irving Street, just east of Third Avenue. Parking is $3 an hour, with a maximum fee of $24 for up to 24 hours.

A free shuttle travels between our Parnassus and Mount Zion sites and several other of our San Francisco locations.

Public transportation is available to our Parnassus location.
